UPDATE: Accused Florida Harley thief caught on camera, now caught in real life
MARION COUNTY, Fla. (BIKER DAD) –The Marion County Florida Sheriff’s Office says they’ve tracked down a Harley thief caught on camera.
The sheriff’s department posted about it on their Facebook page, saying:
“Do you know who this motorcycle thief is? On Saturday, May 15, 2021, he stole the victim’s motorcycle from the parking lot of 484 Liquors at 1354 SE Highway 484. The victim was inside the business when he heard his motorcycle accelerate outside. He rushed outside in time to watch this thief riding off into the sunset on the stolen bike!”
They have since posted an update that the accused thief has been identified and arrested, “**UPDATE: The suspect in these photos has been identified as Richard Carpenter (DOB: 09/21/1979) and he was arrested by Property Crimes detectives on 05/19/21. Thank you for sharing!”
