Holy roller: Michigan biker sings gospel while riding her harley
LANSING, MI (BIKER DAD)– You might call Rose Cooper a holy roller. That’s because she’s known all over the Michigan town of Lansing for riding her Harley and belting out gospel music.
She told 10News.com that it just came natural. That she put on her iPod and just sang. Now, she’s a local legend, warming hearts and making people smile from one end of the town to the other, “and it just so happens that while I ride my bike, I sing, and for whatever reason, that catches people’s attention.”
She’s using her notoriety for a good cause, a charity called Ride and Sing with SonicBoom. She gives custom singing tours and rides and donates the proceeds to The Nyaka AIDS Orphans Project.
