Alabama biker still missing more than a month after crashing into alligator infested waters
DAPHNE, Ala. (BIKER DAD) — It’s now been more than a month since a Honda Shadow was found crashed along a bridge known as the Bayway that crosses Mobile Bay in Alabama. The man riding the bike disappeared without a trace, presumably in the shallow but still incredibly dangerous waters below.
A trucker found Jeremy Hale’s wrecked bike early on the Morning of April 20th. A huge search of the area known as Alligator Alley by emergency workers family and friends turned up nothing. The area lives up to its name, famous for being infested by alligators often over ten feet long.
“We brought out our new marine sonic tow fish sonar system. We searched that entire area with that brand new system and we had no positive results at all,” Tony Dickey with Daphne Search & Rescue told WKRG.
Meantime the family is left with the lingering motorcycle mystery and fears they’ll never know what really happened.
