The auction house wrote about the sale saying, “Bob Bearor was an avid motorcyclist and collector. He loved Harley Davidson and Indian motorcycles. As a kid, he friended Ed Flynn, Bennington, VT Indian dealer. When he passed away acquired his collection. This amazing collection will be sold in 1 amazing day. There is something for everyone. Antique Tractors, gas engines, collectibles, and an AMAZING collection of RARE Indian and Harley Davidson Motorcycles and hundreds of parts. The collection has Midget race cars and restored and original motorcycles along with hundreds of pieces of Motorcycle memorabilia and Petro liana. Yvette VanDerBrink is organizing the auction. She told the Times Argus the collection one of the “most unique” assemblages for motorcycles she’s seen. “These big collections like this are getting few and far between,” she said. “This has some really rare bikes and parts in it. We have a lot of four-cylinder Indian pieces — 1938-40 Indian stuff. We have Indian parts and Harley parts, some of them going back to 1908.”

Besides the Harleys and Indians, there’s a big collection of Hondas too. 50 Vintage Indian Dealer Motorcycle Posters, Indian pins, Indian postcards, Indian tools, Indian Bicycles, Indian Oil Cans, Vintage motorcycle leathers, kidney belts, racing suits, vintage race posters, vintage motorcycle hill climb posters, and more.
