CLEARWATER, Fla. (BIKER DAD) — Police say a Florida man lead them on a motorcycle chase to impress his date. Police arrested Taylor Williams Beverly in Clearwater. He allegedly led police on the chase with the woman on the back.
That’s all according to a report by Newsweek. The magazine says the woman was screaming at Beverly to stop during the chase. But he didn’t listen.

According to the arrest affidavit they were on their first date. The report says that police spotted him at a light on a white motorcycle with no license plates. That’s when the 22-year-old took off with the woman screaming for him to stop. According to the report, he admitted to it at all, saying he was trying to impress her. He likely left an impression, but not a good one.
He has a mugshot from a previous arrest in another county.

Police stopped chasing but radioed ahead to other units to keep an eye out. They did and finally busted him. He’s charged with fleeing a police officer. He’s also accused of high speed or “wanton disregard.”
