PHOENIX, Ariz. (BIKER DAD) — Caught on camera, a Phoenix cop hurt in a hit and run. Now police have arrested the woman allegedly behind it. Watch the video in the player above or subscribe to the Biker Dad YouTube Channel
According to AZCentral.com, police arrested 52-year-old Elizabeth Eaton in connection with the hit and run almost 12 hours after the crash. The video shows her vehicle turning left in front of the officer who flies into the air as sparks shoot out from the crash. The Dodge Journey then takes off.
Police got an anonymous tip and found the SUV in the suspect’s back yard with damage that matched up with the crash. Phoenix Police haven’t named the officer, but say he is a 16-year-veteran who had to have immediate surgery on his leg.

According to court records, Eaton had a previous DUI conviction in 2002, but drugs and alcohol were not a factor in this collision.
