MOBILE, AL (BIKER DAD) — Police say a biker was hit and killed when a Jeep driven by a 25-year-old ran into him last week. The driver of the Jeep wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and aslo died after flying out of the vehicle.
Friends and family shared their grief about the loss of Michael Thomas, 64, of Mobile on social media. Thomas was a member of the local vintage motorcycle club and was on a 1978 Kawasaki when he was killed.
Both Thomas and the Jeep driver, 25-year-old Danielle Brannon, were pronounced dead on the scene. ALEA said Brannon was not wearing a seatbelt and was “ejected” from the Jeep.
ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continues to investigate the crash.
