BUY BIKER DAD PATCHES AND STICKERS

Hogs for Heroes, a Wisconsin-based nonprofit organization, is opening its first application period to select six injured Wisconsin veteran riders to receive a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The organization raises funds to buy motorcycles for veteran riders who believe that the freedom and peace of the open road and the support of the riding community can provide therapeutic benefits for those struggling with physical and mental wounds from their active duty.
Hogs for Heroes plans to gift eight motorcycles in 2023, with the first six recipients receiving their bikes from May to July. The organization will open a second, shorter application period in May to select a few more veterans.

To be eligible, applicants must be Wisconsin residents, an honorably discharged veteran with a service-connected injury, have a current motorcycle endorsement and a history of riding, and face hardships that prevent them from purchasing a motorcycle themselves. The application period opened on February 1, 2023, and materials must be postmarked by March 4, 2023.
The organization’s annual D-Day Ride will take place on June 4, 2023, and all proceeds will go towards buying the next motorcycle for a veteran. To learn more about Hogs for Heroes and how to apply, visit their website: www.HOGsForHeroesWI.org
