Deputies said they got a call about a man who had threatened his ex-girlfriend and the people she was staying with. Deputies said the man, Jesse Tyler Scott, 36, had a gun and was wanted for armed robbery.
They say they called off the chase due to speed just before he slammed into a van.
Scott was recently featured in Fox 10’s fugitive file.. wanted for a carjacking.
A high-speed chase conducted by the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office ended in tragedy when a motorcyclist was killed. The motorcyclist, whose identity has not been released, crashed into a van.
