The crash report states the crash occurred when a Toyota Corolla crossed the center line and hit five motorcycles. After the impact, the car then went off the side of the road and stopped in a ditch.

According to friends, the riders were on their way to a charity poker run, “I really don’t know where to start this …. What society has came to at this rate we are all doomed they was going for a poker run to help people and they get this in return please hug your family and tell them you love them everyday and cherish every moment with them because you never know when it will be the last time your with them. Don’t ever end on bad terms and cherish each other because we are all we got. Please end drunk driving and stop letting your demons get to you and make better choices not just for yourself but for other families do the right thing,” one friend posted on Facebook.
The occupants of the motorcycles were thrown after their bikes overturned. One of the motorcycles caught on fire shortly after the crash.
