A road-rage confrontation in Las Vegas took a dangerous turn when a pickup truck appears to intentionally ram a motorcycle on the highway—and the entire encounter was caught on video.

The incident happened near Las Vegas Boulevard, where a witness captured video showing the pickup and motorcycle involved in the confrontation.

In the video, the truck appears to make contact with the motorcycle, sending the rider into an extremely dangerous situation. What may have started as a traffic dispute quickly escalated into behavior that could have had deadly consequences for the motorcyclist.

For a rider, being struck by a vehicle isn’t the same as a typical fender-bender.

There is no steel cage around the rider. No airbags. No seat belt. And if a truck deliberately moves into a motorcycle, even a relatively low-speed impact can send the rider sliding or tumbling across the pavement and into the path of other traffic.

A road-rage mistake can become a deadly decision

Whatever happened before the video begins, intentionally using a vehicle to confront or strike a motorcycle is an enormous escalation.

The safest move when confronted by an aggressive driver is to create distance—not engage.

Don’t chase the driver. Don’t retaliate. Don’t try to “win” the confrontation.

Get away if you safely can, and call 911 if the situation becomes threatening.
