Ride for Tammy: Bikers roll out to help police chief’s wife who’s battling cancer
BAY MINETTE, Ala. (BIKER DAD)– A huge parade of bikers pulled out of the parking lot of a Bay Minette park Saturday. They were also pulling for a woman fighting stage 4 breast cancer.
Tammy Tolbert works for the Baldwin County District Attorney. She’s also marred to Bay Minette Police Chief Al Tolbert. She was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer back in November. After 16 weeks of chemotherapy doctors say it looks like the cancer has been knocked out for now. She’ll undergo radiation therapy as well.
The Chief credits her improving health the community and their prayers. One of Tolbert’s officers is also involved with the Punishers Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club. She organized the event.

The bikers each paid 20 dollars, went on a long ride through the rolling countryside, then sat down together for lunch and a raffle. Organizers say they went over their goal. And the Tolberts say they’ll pay it forward when all is said and done.
