Alabama bikers rev their engines in support of veterans home residents
BAY MINETTE, Ala. (BIKER DAD)–Dozens of bikers rolled out Saturday to support the veterans living at William F. Green Veterans Home in Bay Minette, Alabama. Most of the residents have been in isolation since the beginning of COVID-19. The bikers have periodically been parading past the home to show that even though we are separated, we are not alone.

The same group of bikers earlier in the day took part in the Blue Star Salute at Mobile’s USS Alabama Battleship Park. Blue Star families are those who have loved ones serving active duty during a time of conflict. Both events were part of the annual Armed Forces day which takes place the third Saturday of May.
Riders from several groups including the Patriot Guard Riders, The Punishers Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club and others took part in both rides.
