Police busted a biker doing 144 in a 60, warn others
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn (BIKER DAD) — Police busted a biker doing 144 in a 60 mile per hour zone. Now they’re warning other riders and drivers about the behavior. Minnesota State Police posted picture of the radar and the radar gun to their Facebook page. He was “going more than twice the posted speed limit” the post says. ” It’s careless, reckless and dangerous.
When it comes to the blistering speed the post goes on, “yes, you read that correctly. Drivers stopped at 20 mph over the speed limit face double the fine.” Things get worse at even higher speeds, “those ticketed traveling more than 100 mph can lose their license for six months.”
Some bikers just have a need for speed. It looks like this person is also going to need a ride to get where he’s going for awhile. Police have some advice for him and other’s with a lead foot, “drive smart and leave the speeding to the racing professionals.”
