Police say they got two reports of the gator in the road. The second was a biker who nearly hit the 300-pound beast on his bike. Thankfully he wasn’t hurt.
Wildlife officials took the reptile to a local wildlife refuge for its safety and the safety of drivers. Imagine almost hitting this thing, then facing it down in the middle of “Cemetery Road.” Thankfully the biker didn’t end up on the plot of the road’s namesake.
