Dad to the Bone

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (BIKER DAD)–Nancy Davidson, known as the “First Lady of motorcycling” has died of cancer at 89. That’s according to a report by the Milwaukee Business Journal. Davidson was the wife of Willie G. Davidson, grandson of the motor company’s founder. Willie G. is also the retired former senior VP and legendary style designer for Harley Davidson.

The newspaper reports she died after a long battle with cancer. In 1983, when the company launched the Harley Owners Group, Nancy and Willie began promoting the company by driving thousands of miles across the country, according to the BizJournal.
