FAYATTEVILLE, AR. (BIKER DAD)– Bikes, Blues, and BBQ is canceled. A COVID-19 delta surge has caused the University of Arkansas to revoke a license for the event. The local hospital wrote letters to the University and the city. They warned that hospitals were already overwhelmed. As a result the hospital said the normal influx of patients from the rally due to accidents and other problems would only make it worse. That’s when the University decided to revoke the license.
BB and B organizers say it will be rescheduled, but it’s unclear when. “t this time Bikes, Blues, and BBQ organizers do not feel they can offer a quality event with such massive changes on such short notice. We will be postponing the event at this time. Please follow our social media and website for updates.”
The 21st annual Bikes, Blues and BBQ was set for September 22-25 2021. Bikes, Blues and BBQ is the largest charitable motorcycle rally in the U.S.
