A Sunday night shooting in Mobile is under investigation after a wounded motorcyclist was found near the Mobile Public Library on Government Street.
According to the Mobile Police Department, officers responded Sunday night after receiving reports of a person who had been shot. When officers arrived, they found an adult man with a gunshot wound near his motorcycle in front of the library.
Investigators said the man had apparently fallen or jumped from his motorcycle after being shot elsewhere. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
