One motorcyclist was killed and another was injured after a crash involving two motorcycles and a tractor-trailer on Interstate 40 in Memphis, Tennessee. Police are now searching for the truck driver, who left the scene.

The crash happened shortly after 10 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, on westbound I-40 near Whitten Road.

According to the Memphis Police Department, officers responding to the crash found that two motorcycles had been pushed into a white tractor-trailer. The tractor-trailer did not stop and left the scene.
