A 69-year-old motorcyclist from Navarre, Florida, was killed in a hit-and-run crash Thursday afternoon on Interstate 110 in Escambia County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).

Investigators say a black sedan and a motorcycle collided in the roadway. The sedan’s driver left the scene without stopping.

FHP is searching for the driver of the vehicle, which is believed to be a black Honda or Toyota sedan. Investigators say the car should have damage to its rear.

Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has information about the vehicle or its driver to contact the Florida Highway Patrol.

Anyone who spots a black Honda or Toyota sedan with rear-end damage is encouraged to report it to law enforcement.
