Dad to the Bone

BAY MINETTE, Ala. (BIKER DAD)–When Henry Leo Burgess was born, Warren G. Harding was president. He’s now seen 17 presidents come and go in the White House. Born in 1921, the World War II veteran hit a major milestone Friday. He turned 100.

Not only did 4 generations of his family show up to the William F. Green Veterans home to celebrate, so did dozens of bikers. Along with the Patriot Guard Riders, first responders also parade past the war hero as he saluted. His family, all smiles thanked everyone for coming out. His son invited them all to come back for his 200th birthday party.

He was also made an honorary commander of a local chapter of the American Legion.
