HAZELTON, ID (BIKER DAD)–Motorcycle safety awareness month is coming to a deadly end in a lot of areas. In Idaho a biker was killed Saturday, just days after the state police urged drivers to look out for motorcycles.

Police say Todd D. Bell, 46, of Hazelton died when an agricultural tractor turned in front of him on an Idaho highway. The tractor was being driven by Avila Gomez, 46. Police say Gomez failed to yield to the 1999 Suzuki motorcycle and the bike slammed into the side of the tractor.

This comes just days after the state police posted this about motorcycle safety.

The state police also posted that they are holding a motorcycle safety summit in June.
