Bikers Against Child Abuse, one great cause is backed by another
WICHITA, Kan. (BIKER DAD)— Bikers Against Child Abuse has the backs of abused children across the country. Now someone has their backs. The chapter in Wichita was on the lookout for jean jackets to give to the kids they help protect. That’s when Goodwill stepped in to help according to KSN TV.
Bikers against Child Abuse likes to turn the jean jackets into biker vests. They patch in the kids. And, they give the children they protect their own road names. “We show up, everybody on motorcycles at that time we give them a cut with their own name on it which has been donated today and a patch on the back,” a BACA member named Pipes told KSN.
After reaching out to Goodwill to look for the denim, the organization in Wichita started hunting it down for them. KSN reports Goodwill was able to amass 100 jean jackets. As a result 100 kids will get their own biker vests. And they’ll forever be part of the biker family. “You know they brought over 100 vests, that’s over 100 smiles on 100 kids’ faces right there,” the BACA member told the television station.
