Back the blue ride: 500 bikers roll out to support police

CLEVELAND, OH. (BIKER DAD)–During a back the blue ride, 500 bikers rolled out to support police in Ohio. Cleveland Bikers for Charity organized the huge rally. The event supported Shop with a Cop. Each year police in Cleveland nominate kids who are usually victims of or witnesses to crimes to receive gifts.

The bikers also ran in honor of a fallen police officer. Detective James Skernivitz, who was killed in the line of duty in September. Police say a gunman shot Skernivitz and another man while he was working undercover. The suspect now faces the death penalty.
