Stepping up for fallen bikers: Riders 4 Riders group helps them get back on 2
BUY BIKER DAD PATCHES AND STICKERS

MOBILE, Ala. (BIKER DAD) — It’s a blistering Saturday afternoon but a crowd is gathered outside a local bar and biker favorite called Patches in Mobile Alabama. They are holding paper paddles made from plates. They make great fans to wave away the heat. But, they are also numbered for the auction going on before them.
The bikers and other members of the community rode in a poker run before this auction as well. The day-long event was to support a young woman with breast cancer.

This day is just one example of how a group called Riders 4 Riders has been helping out the community for more than a decade. Biker Dad spoke to president Lisa Ost and you can see our video in the player above or subscribe to the Biker Dad YouTube Channel.
The group’s main focus is getting riders back on their feet and back on two wheels. This generally takes place after a crash. Lisa herself has recently survived a minor crash, walking away with mostly road rash. But, more serious crashes can be not only physically devastating but financially too.
That’s where Riders 4 Riders steps in. But Lisa wants people to know that they can only help if the biker isn’t at fault. Also, if they don’t have a proper motorcycle endorsement or insurance, the group can’t help either.
The group has swollen from a handful of people at the start to hundreds of members now. If you’d like to join, donate or need help yourself, check out their Facebook page.
Riders 4 Riders will be featured on an upcoming episode of the Biker Dad TV show.
