Central Florida biker killed by truck pulling out of a solid waste station

A 56-year-old biker was killed Saturday when a truck pulled out in front of him. Police say the GMC 2500 was leaving the Hernando County solid waste station when it pulled out in front of a Yamaha and right into the motorcyle’s path.

The biker was rushed to a local hospital but died. Florida Highway Patorl says a 67-year-old man driving the truck wasn’t hurt.

The biker wasn’t identifed but was from Dade City, Florida.

A Webster man driving a pickup was involved in a fatal collision with a motorcycle in Hernando County.
