New Smyrna Beach Police are investigating a bike week shooting they appears to be between rival motorcycle clubs “biker gangs” according to their Facebook page.
“ACTIVE INVESTIGATION: NSBPD is currently investigating a shooting that occurred today in the 3000 block of SR-44. Preliminary information is that the shooting occurred between rival motorcycle gangs. At this time, any and all injuries appear to be non-life-threatening. Please avoid the area as the investigation is underway at this time.”
Video shot by witness and posted to Facebook shows the bikers in a group at a gas station . Fists start flying then bullets.
In the video it’s clear some of those involved are Mongols. The other club is not so clearly identified. But a woman can be heard stating the other club is the Warlocks.
Police said that any and all injuries appeared to be non-life threatening.
Police said an arrest has already been made in connection with the shooting.
