ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Cobb County Police are mourning the loss of an officer killed in a motorcycle crash while off-duty.
Anthony Cantoral was killed on Friday, just three days after he was honored for Building Strong Horizons’ February First Responder of the Month.

“Our hearts go out to Officer Cantoral’s family, friends and colleagues during this incredibly difficult time,” the Cobb County Police Department released in a statement. “We also extend our thoughts and prayers to the other individuals involved in the accident.”
The department asks that Cantoral’s family be in your thoughts and prayers.
