PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) – The Florida Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help to identify a hit-and-run driver and “bring him to justice.”

A 47-year-old Pensacola motorcyclist was seriously injured in the crash that happened about 5 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Blue Angels Parkway and Longleaf Creek, the FHP said.
According to a news release, the driver failed to avoid a collision, causing the front right corner of a Nissan Altima to collide with the rear left side of the motorcycle. After the first collision occurred the motorcycle was pushed forward, causing the left side of the motorcycle to collide with the rear right corner of a Nissan Rogue.
The highway patrol said the Altima then continued to travel south causing a second collision. The front right corner of the Altima collided with the rear left corner of the Rogue.
The FHP said the suspect driver continued to travel south fleeing the scene of the crash with injuries without rendering aid. Officials said the suspect driver abandoned the vehicle at a gas station on Mobile Highway.
The whereabouts of the suspect driver are unknown, the FHP said, and “we’re asking for assistance to identify the suspect driver and bring him to justice.”
The FHP distributed a photo it says shows the suspect driver.
