IRVINE, Ca. (BIKER DAD)– A California motorcycle chop shop busted. A brother and sister were behind the operationaccording to Irvine Police. The Orange County Register reports the siblings could be responsible for bike thefts all over Orange County. The suspects are Vincent Catanho, 49, and Bonnie Catanho, 47.

Police told the newspaper they recovered 6 stolen bikes. All were in different stages of dismantling. Someone stole two of the bikes in just the past week. “One is a 2017 Ducati 959 Paingale that was reported missing Monday and valued at roughly $13,000, Davies said. The other is a 2016 BMW S1000R stolen on Wednesday and worth about $11,000,” the ORC reported.

The ORC says thefts were caught on camera. License plate numbers lead them to the suspects. As a result they served several search warrants. One of those was on a storage locker. That’s where they found some of the bikes and parts.
