UPDATE: The first suspect in a shooting over an MC poser has been indicted on murder charges. According to the Madison Courier, Jason W. Brewer, 35, of North Vernon, has been charged with Murder, a Level 1 felony; Attempted Murder, Attempted Robbery and Attempted Burglary, all Level 2 felonies; and Obstruction of Justice, a Level 6 felony, plus a Criminal Gang Enhancement that could add years to his prison sentence if convicted.

Investigators say he’s one of 5 people, including members of the Pagans and Warlocks Motorcycle Clubs who went to a home near Dupont shortly after 4 a.m. on June 22, armed with guns and knives, and looking for Shawn Rudis.

They were angry when they found out Rudis had MC tattoos and patches even though he wasn’t a member. Police say there was a shoot-out and one of the Pagans died.

Original Story:

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ind. (BIKER DAD)— Prosecutors say an MC poser murdered because of club tattoos and patches was attacked by members of those clubs. Five people are now charged with various crimes including murder. 4 men, prosecutors believe members of the Pagans and Warlocks and a woman are charged.

The suspects are Jason Brewer, 34, Gary Fletcher, 40, David Faulkner, 52, Michael Karnuth, 32, Jordan Lowe, 26. Prosecutors say they went to a home in Dupont Indiana to beat up a man who had patches and tattoos of the two outlaw motorcycle clubs but wasn’t a member of either. This is a huge no-no in the biker world. And police say it cost a man his life

When the bikers stormed the home on June 22nd gunfire erupted and Dustin Lindner, 35, of Georgetown, Kentucky was killed. The Prosecutor says he was wearing a Pagan’s t-shirt. The MC impostor has not been charged. But the investigation is still open.

The prosecutor announced the charges on Facebook:

The Pagans have been in the news a lot lately. Just this week two of their top members were arrested.

They’ve also been in two high-profile brawls in Florida involving the Outlaws MC.
