Biker bomb scare: New details on device found on “suspicious motorcycle”
ADAMS CO., Col. (BIKER DAD)– We’re learning more about a “suspicious motorcycle” that brought the bomb squat do a Colorado highway and shut it down. The Post reports wires were sticking out of the bike’s storage. The bomb squad destroyed the device with a water cannon.
Apparently homemade stun guns aren’t illegal. But deputies are still investigating why the bike was abandoned and if the rider will face charges.
ADAMS CO. Col. (BIKER DAD) –A Colorado Bomb squad dismantles a device after responding to suspicious motorcycle. The Adams County Sheriff’s Office posted about the bike on Twitter. A picture shows a black sport bike parked on the shoulder of Interstate 25.
Colorado State Patrol troopers shut down the highway to check the biker out. Bomb squad techs were on the scene as well. Deputies continued to tweet updates at the drama unfolded.
“Bomb Squad technicians found and rendered safe a ‘home made’ electronic device. There is currently no threat to the public. Traffic is still closed at this time as troopers continue their investigation. Anyone needing to travel in the area please seek alternate routes,” they updated the public.
Then when it was all over they gave the all clear.
