UPDATE: Police are now investigating if a former deputy constable murdered a biker dad because they were in rival motorcycle clubs. ABC 13 did not report which clubs they were a part of. “It’s also concerning that if this is just over what kind of bikes people ride, or club they belong to, or persona they adopt as part of a motorcycle club, these are very superficial reasons to involve yourself in violence, much less murder,” a court official said.

A 32-year-old man named Jesse Metzger was killed in a road rage incident in Spring, Texas. He was out at dinner with friends when he left the restaurant and contacted them saying he was being followed by a white Jeep Cherokee. His friends later found him dead in a Home Depot parking lot and it was determined he had been shot. The authorities believe it may have been a case of road rage, but they are still working to determine the circumstances of the shooting. The Sheriff’s office is searching for the white Jeep Cherokee and have not released further details about the vehicle or who they are looking for. Jesse Metzger was a father of three with a fourth child on the way and leaves behind his wife and children. A fundraiser has been set up to cover funeral expenses and any remaining money will go towards his family.
