Road rage shooting: Colorado police search for MC members bikers involved

LAFAYETTE, Col. (BIKER DAD) — Police in Colorado are on the hunt for three bikers involved in a road rage shooting with a child caught in the crossfire. Police in Lafayette posted about it on their Facebook page.
Police two men and a woman were involved in the Labor Day incident in Lafayette. Each was riding a Harley Davidson.
Officers say the two men appear to be patched members of an MC. But the press release doesn’t say which motorcycle club. It also doesn’t say what sparked the road rage in the first place.

According to police one of the men may have punched the 2004 Chevy Silverado. The other definitely put some lead into the truck. The people inside the pickup weren’t hurt. A passenger in the truck was only a child according to police. It was riddled with multiple bullet holes.
Police say the shooter was a larger white man on a ruby red Harley with a black seat, “the motorcycle had a hard-sided saddle bag out of which the firearm was pulled. The driver was possibly wearing a military style WWII era helmet. The suspect appeared to be a patched member of an unknown motorcycle club.

Police describe the second suspect as a
“White male, average to slim build, possibly riding a late model Harley Davidson Softail Lowrider S of unknown color, with a Memphis Shades front fairing. The suspect possibly punched out e Silverado’s passenger-side mirror. The suspect appeared to be a patched member of an unknown motorcycle club.

Third suspect: White female, larger build, possibly riding a late model Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic or Road King, black or dark in color. The suspect had a possible Harley Davidson patch on the back of her clothing.

On Sept. 6, 2021, at approximately 5:44pm, the Lafayette Police Department was dispatched to the area of U.S. Highway 287 and W. South Boulder Road, Lafayette, CO, on a call of a road rage incident that resulted in shots being fired at a vehicle. The original road rage incident began in the area of U.S. Highway 287 and State Highway 52, north of Lafayette, and continued southbound to W. South Boulder Road, and involved three motorcycles and a silver Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. A male suspect on a motorcycle, accompanied by another male and female on separate motorcycles, shot multiple rounds from a handgun at the silver 2004 Chevrolet Silverado on W. South Boulder Road, east of U.S. Highway 287. Three rounds struck the Chevrolet Silverado on the driver’s side. Neither the adult driver nor a juvenile male passenger in the truck were injured. The motorcycles continued eastbound on W. South Boulder Road.The suspects were described as:Shooting suspect: White male with a larger build, possibly riding a late model ruby red Harley Davidson Road Glide with a black seat.
