Biker drowning in a canal, off-duty cop comes to the rescue
FRESNO, Cal. (BIKER DAD)–A biker drowning in a canal. An off duty cop jumps into action to save his life. The hero cop saw the biker speeding down the road before the crash. That’s according to a report by ABC 30.
The station says the officer, Thao Xiong, saw the bike speeding and lane splitting. Then he saw a plume of smoke up ahead. Because of that he went to check it out. He found the bike wrecked. The rider was in the water. He was going in and out of consciousness.
Judge: California’s “assault weapon” ban unconstitutional
A federal judge has ruled California’s ban on so-called “assault rifles” is unconstitutional. According to NBC News, Judge Roger T. Benitez, who has favored pro-gun groups in past rulings, described the AR-15 rifle as an ideal weapon. “Like the Swiss Army Knife, the popular AR-15 rifle is a perfect combination of home defense weapon and homeland defense equipment,” he wrote in Friday’s decision.

Police in California are looking for a pickup driver who tried to kill a motorcycle cop. He rammed his giant pickup in reverse and plowed over the bike. Thankfully the officer was able to get out of the way.
